Mr. Nirmal Singh has, since 2010 under his leadership & management successfully conducted over 1.5 lakh surgeries in Sant Kabir Eye Hospital, Basti itself. He has made the hospital a part of several government initiatives which he has inculcated and implemented. Some of these government initiatives are the National Programme for Control of Blindness, Ayushman Bharat Yojana Scheme for the poor Ayushman Card Holders
Sant Kabir Eye Hospital was established in the year 2010 under the mentorship of Mr. Nirmal Singh, who has served the hospital industry for over 19 years. Sant Kabir Eye Hospital was initially being run in the Khalilabad vicinity as an eye care center. Later on, the founder keeping in mind the significance of the place as the “Deh-Tyaag” sthal (relinquishing the body) of Sant Kabir Das Ji, established a full-fledged hospital at Basti with the name of Sant Kabir Eye Hospital.
In September 2021, the hospital has concluded over 800 surgeries and the founder aims to make the eye care sector a humane nudge.
